Terms of Service

Welcome to Rocking P BBQ. By accessing our website or booking our catering services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Catering Bookings & Deposits
To secure a date for your event, a non-refundable deposit is required. No date is reserved until the deposit has been paid and a contract has been signed.
- Quotes: All price quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
- Deposit: A deposit of 20% (or as specified in your contract) is required to hold the date.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event date.
2. Guest Counts & Menu Changes
We understand that planning events can be fluid. However, to ensure we can source quality ingredients (especially our specific cuts of meat), we require:
- Final Guest Count: Must be provided 14 days prior to the event. After this date, the count may increase (subject to availability) but cannot decrease.
- Menu Changes: Any major changes to the menu must be finalized 3 weeks prior to the event.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
In the unfortunate event that you must cancel your booking, the following schedule applies:
- 30+ Days Prior: Refund of payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.
- 14-29 Days Prior: 50% of the estimated total will be charged.
- Less than 14 Days Prior: 100% of the total estimated cost is due, as food and staff have already been secured.
4. Food Safety & Leftovers
Rocking P BBQ adheres to strict health and safety codes. Once the service time has ended, any leftover food may be packaged for the client if refrigeration is immediately available. However, Rocking P BBQ accepts no liability for food safety once the food has been transferred to the client's possession.
5. Service Area & Travel Fees
We primarily serve Shasta County (Redding, Anderson, Cottonwood, Red Bluff). Events outside of this radius may incur a travel fee to cover fuel and staff travel time.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California.
